The commingled collection of containers(glass, plastic and cans) utilizing compaction vehicles is a proven way of increaingly efficency and profitability of curbside collection operations, but this mix of materials needs to be separated into marketable commodities. The EHS COSS will provide clean separated commodities from commingled recyclables with no manual separation. The standard system delivers five materials:
- Pulverised glass
- Ferrous metal
- Aluminium
- Plastics
- Paper
- Card board
with a throughput rate of 18 tons per hour. There is no manual input to the sorting of the materials.
